Blue tourist train + red tourist train

The blue tourist train

The blue tourist train is comprised of a locomotive and two carriages, which makes it possible to have 40 adults on board. The doors of the carriages can be closed and they are supplied also with safety chain. The seats are upholstered. Against rain and wind the passengers are protected by transparent PVC cover. At night the sightseeing train travels with illumination.

On the tourist train the passangers receive information through the built-in mediasystem:

• amplification through michrophone
• playing of ready soundmaterial in Hungarian and German about the history and monuments of Sopron, Fertőrákos, Hegykő, Fertőboz, Nagycenk, Fertőd, Balf, Fertőszéplak and National Park Fertő-Hanság
• playing of own soundmaterial (from pendrive in MP3 or WMA)

Total length of the train is 13 m 62 cm, the width is 180 cm and the height is 245 cm.
Nevertheless it can turn around in small places too.
The diameter of the turning circle is 12 metres.

The maximum speed of the train is 25 km/h.
The locomotive has an all-wheel drive, which allows for going up on 6% rises even with full load.

The blue tourist train has a registration number, therefore it can circulate in public vehicular traffic. The train can only be rented with the driver.

The red tourist train

The red tourist train is comprised of a locomotive and two long carriages. The whole train has 60 seats, out of which 4 seats are special VIP seats situated in the locomotive. The doors of the carriages can be closed and they are supplied also with safety chain. The seats are shellshaped. Against rain and wind the passengers are protected by transparent PVC cover. At night the sightseeing train travels with illumination.

On the tourist train the passangers receive information through the built-in mediasystem:

• amplification through michrophone
• playing of ready soundmaterial in Hungarian and German about the history and monuments of Sopron, Fertőrákos, Hegykő, Fertőboz, Nagycenk, Fertőd, Balf, Fertőszéplak and National Park Fertő-Hanság

The red tourist train has a registration number, therefore it can circulate in public vehicular traffic. The train can only be rented with the driver.
